Sherwood: Busy working at Classy Closets and being in the bishopric
finished his barn/man cave/garage {we love it!}
Lori: really busy working at Davis Miles Law Firm, relief society, and running her marathon!

the boys got to go down to mexico to fish! they had a great time!

we had our first annual post-wimbledon tennis tournament

sherwood & lori took first place!

Holly & Robert: about to start their last semester up at NAU in flagstaff {robert will graduate from the dental hygiene program}
gabby{2} keeps us laughing and uses up all our energy! we love these kiddos!

the girls are the best of friends and love to play outside together!

the sparks will be adding a NEW ADDITION to their family in the middle of march with a little BOY!!! they are so excited! {but aren't sure how they will de-pink their house!}

they have loved living in flagstaff & will miss all their new friends when they move back to the valley.
they made a family trip to rocky point during the summer with their friends... they loved it! carter will always correct how you say mexico now {it's me-hee-co} ha ha!


carter is quite the performer & sang a song {someday my prince will come} at marshall and chelsea's reception.

Amy: keeps busy with work & lots of play! she is working at Tantrum Hair Salon still & serves as the activities co-chair in her singles ward.
made a trip to south carolina with her friends last august
has had the opportunity to go to new york twice & california once for hair classes at bumble & bumble & goldwell. she's learning lots and becoming a very experienced hair stylist!

Marshall & Chelsea: right after getting engaged, chelsea headed to ecuador to serve in an orphanage there. she loved the experience she got & was thrilled that marshall got to come pick her up!
they were able to visit many people from marshall's mission {seen below with his mission president & his wife}
they were married in the mesa arizona temple in april & we love having chelsea as part of our family!!!
they bought their first house at the end of september and after doing lots of work on it {with the help of family & friends} were able to move in at the beginning of december, just in time for chelsea's birthday! chelsea is working at tantrum hair salon also & marshall is at a dental lab. he is busy taking his pre-reqs hoping to apply for dental school in about a year.
Becky: had the chance to go to uruguay at the beginning of january and be a nanny for the mission president's daughter, annie.
she was there for three months and had a great time!
she's still working at scrapbooks, etc & granny sitting. she loves her jobs! she is also in school for graphic design and is liking her new program a lot!
went to boston and new york at the beginning of december with friends & had a fun time but was glad to come back to warm az!

It was fun reading about your 2008year. Your family always has a lot of fun times and a lot of things going on. Never a dull moment at the Hamblins. Happy 2009 to you (in a couple of days).
