remember this post??? {goal #3} well, the day is finally coming! i run my marathon this weekend! in celebration, i decided to have a little contest... let's see if anyone can guess how long it will take me! keep in mind it is a whoppin' 26.2 miles!
If you run a ten minute mile then that would be 4 hours 22 min. right? So lets just make it a nice 4 1/2 hours. Sick. How can you run for that long? We know you'll do great though! Good luck!
I say 4 hours and 44 minutes. Seriously, I have no idea how long it takes anyone to run a marathon- but that's my guess! I know you'll do it in great time and in great style. Just don't get hurt! I admire you for setting this goal and achieving it. I'm achieving my goals too....yea right! Thanks for changing your blog to accept "anonymous comments" just for me (or should I say thanks Becky!). Have fun (?) in Utah! Karen
You go girl! Any time finished (not in the back of an ambulance) is a awesome accomplishment!!! I'll wish you the best, with no help from the EMTs (oh, that would be if I ran)....4 hrs. 50 min.
MOm I am going to say 7 hours and 24 min....hahahahahaha!!!! I am kidding I think you will run it in 4 hours 27min! YOu go! And we all wish we could be there to see you run it...next time!
You are AMAZING! My goal is to do a half next year. Not sure if I would ever do a full marathon. You go Lori! I'm with Holly... 4 1/2 hours. Good luck!
Here's our guesses: Jordan is predicting you'll finish in an honorable 4:40. Alan thinks you'll come in a little faster at an impressive 4:26. I was going to predict a strong finish at 4:03BUT, knowing you like I do, if it looks like you have any chance of coming in under 4, you'll do it. So, my final answer is 3:39. Now run your socks off and make us proud! Love ya. I'll be running with you in spirit.
WOW! A marathon! I would love to do that someday! I hear that training is LOTS of work! I am thrilled for you! When you recover, let us know how it went!
I know I'm getting this guess in late, since you already ran, but I don't see that you have your time posted yet. So I am going to guess that you did it in 5 hours and 45 minutes. Naoma
